My grandmother came to my country in 1948. She had never told anyone much about her life before and how she had adapted at first. The Sams inspired me to take the time and "interview" her a bit. After the surprise of the first question, she became unstoppable! Now we've kept her story on a text file, for when the others want to hear about it.
