What We Do
Sams’ Echoes is a platform dedicated to personal storytelling projects—helping people explore, structure, and preserve their memories in meaningful ways. We are building a space where storytellers, families, and professionals come together to create and share lasting personal narratives.
Our project is built around three key missions:
1. Promoting Personal Storytelling—With Privacy at Its Core
Using online marketing campaigns and social media messages, we encourage people to start personal story projects with their families, friends, and communities. This could be writing a biography, recording memories, preserving sentimental objects, or digitalizing archives. We want to make storytelling accessible, engaging, and rewarding for everyone.
At the same time, we lay a strong focus on keeping stories personal. We anonymize stories by default unless explicitly requested otherwise. Our aim is to inspire and demonstrate what is possible—not to expose people’s private lives. Personal storytelling should remain just that—personal.
2. Connecting People & Experts
We bring together individuals who want to tell their stories and the professionals who can help them. From biographers, archivists, and interviewers to photographers, digitalization experts, and video creators, we are developing a network that supports storytelling projects of all kinds.
3. Exploring New Tools & Methods
The way we share stories is evolving. We test and explore traditional methods (writing, interviews, photography) and new technologies (AI-powered storytelling, digital preservation, multimedia projects). Our goal is to find the best ways to help people bring their personal histories to life.
